Bridal Formals Photography
My little sister was married in the most gorgeous wedding that took place up in Utah in August. But she came down to Dallas to celebrate and have a small reception for those who she’s known all her life that were unable to travel to Utah. Since she was here, I had to set up a formal shoot with her and her now husband because her dress is just incredible. It is one of a kind (truly). She found it at Alta Moda in Salt Lake City. I was so lucky to be there with her when she decided on her dress. The one thing she always said growing up was that she wanted a lace dress, so when she put this one on I just knew. We were both in tears (of course) as we realized this was her wedding dress. The stunning Rue de Seine designer gown is actually strapless. They have on incredible seamstress who literally rebuilt the entire top of the dress and added the playful bell sleeves that Heather wanted. It is a work of art right??
So I picked her and Doug up from the airport at 3pm, went to the store and grabbed some flowers, grabbed them some food, then rushed home to make a bouquet and do her hair/get dressed and off we went. We were running about 20 min later then I was hoping but as you can see we captured exactly what we wanted to. This location is my absolute favorite spot in all of DFW located in Flower Mound, TX! It over looks Lake Grapevine and has so much variety for incredible nature backdrops. These pictures turned out better than I had even planned.
